Experience our low caffeine coffee with incomparable taste

CHOCOLATEY COFFEE WITH NOTES OF APRICOT AND RED BERRIES

The Aramosa Low Caf is from our long-time friends at Daterra Farm in Brazil. This coffee is characterized by a naturally low caffeine content (0.7-0.9%) compared to standard Arabica coffees (1.2-1.5%). It impresses with the typical chocolaty notes for which Brazilian coffee is known, as well as a fruity taste of red berries and apricot. Its smooth mouthfeel rounds off the taste perfectly and makes it a special treat.

Preparation tips

Aramosa Low Caf is suitable for all coffee preparation methods, e.g. hand filter, coffee machine, plunger pot or AeroPress. Thanks to its slightly fruity flavor nuances, it is also ideal for iced coffee or cold brew.

Light roast

We roast the Aramosa Low Caf fresh and particularly gently every week in our roastery in Berlin. Our roasting masters pay close attention to the point in time at which the sweetness and aroma of the coffee develop optimally. The roasting profile is put together individually by our roasting masters depending on the characteristics of the coffee.

Low Caf Aramosa: Naturally low caffeine content

Origin

The coffee comes from the Daterra Farm in Cerrado, Brazil. The “Daterra – sustainable coffee” farm is located near the town of Patrocínio. Since our first trip to Brazil in 2018, we have had a long-standing friendship with Daterra. Among other things, we source the green coffee for our Cerrado coffee from the farm. Daterra is an extremely innovative farm that has been researching innovative, sustainable cultivation concepts together with universities for many years and has already received numerous awards for its work. One of their projects involves the development of Arabica coffee varieties with a naturally low caffeine content. Our Aramosa Low Caf is a “natural low caf variety” and has a naturally low caffeine content (0.7-0.9%) compared to standard Arabica coffees (1.2-1.5%). Unlike the Lovebirds coffee, this coffee has not undergone anaerobic fermentation. If you want to taste the effect of fermentation, you should definitely also try our Lovebirds coffee.
